Enter our Two-Minute Movie Contest!

How does it work?
Use your film-making skills to create a two-minute video - preferably one with a plot or story. Any subject, any topic (within reason, of course - see our Rules Page for complete details).

Who determines the winners?
A panel of judges from the Rogue Valley's film industry will select the top three videos. Our judges are:
Anne Ashbey, the executive director of the Ashland Independent Film Festival;
Erik Palmer, assistant professor of convergent media in the Southern Oregon University department of communication;
and Andres Tavares, the winner of the 2012 Two-Minute Movie Contest.

Online voters will select a people's choice award.

All winners will be announced online and in the Mail Tribune.

Are there prizes?
Yes, there are.
First Prize: A one-year membership to Southern Oregon Film and Television, valued at $24. Members connect with a community of film and media professionals through this trade association, which is officially recognized by the Oregon Governor's Office of Film and Television.
Second Prize:
A $20 Cinemark gift certificate
Third Prize: A $15 Cinemark gift certificate

The people's choice winner will get a $20 gift certificate for Dutch Bros.

Good Luck!
